Crazy Kings Tower Defense Game App Reviews

Ok, I still like this game even after the last two updates.(Not sure what this latest update was all about, but the previous one was more of a game changer) Honestly, the later stages were getting super difficult even before the update. I actually think the latest update makes some stages slightly easier, as you can add a card slot by watching an ad. Someone reported that hero cards were reset to 1 after update, but I did not experience such issues. Granted, watching an ad to get a card slot or arena ticket does kind of ruin the gaming experience, but game is still playable. My biggest issue is still the time it takes to upgrade cards, which has been the case all along even prior to update. Anyways, the game is a solid 3 and could be higher if the game balance could be adjusted...

This game is one of the few that I can say has had hooked for months now. The only downfall is that I play through the levels too quickly.

Completely waste of time and money.

I play it literally every day. They give away a LOT of free stuff, so much that you can beat the whole game over maybe a few weeks without paying. I dont mind supporting them though because the game is great. I cant wait for more updates, keep it coming guys!

Ive been enjoying this game for a while and NOT hurrying it along. Ive even made some purchases of new towers and heroes - something I rarely do. At the present time (level 26 hero and up to the serpent arena), I am becoming VERY frustrated. Current towers that can be upgraded are maxd or level 7. More effective towers are impossible to upgrade because cards never drop (and I refuse to pay money on the chance I will get upgrade cards). Difficult or time consuming quests reward with level 1 armor or more cards for towers already at max. Sigh. The serpent arena was working pretty well to allow me to upgrade new equipment and towers until the last upgrade - now it is almost impossible to win with current equipment due to the ridiculous number of enemys in each level. My advise - enjoy it while you can - that is, until the developer decides the only way you can advance is to pay and pay and pay... Update: current version is just as bad. Level 1 rewards for upper level fights. The developers cant seem to code to match reward to risk leading to a huge waste of time and constant frustration. Play something else ...

After playing for months and paying for extra cards, I made the mistake of upgrading this game. I was enjoying the daily grind and the predictable rewards. Now, there is no winning, no reward for playing, just disappointment and frustration. Well, my addiction is cured.

I love the new update! This game is awesome. I play literally every day. Its similar to kingdom rush in many ways but with way more variety. If you even remotely like tower defense games, play Crazy Kings, its super fun.

Literally spent 6k gem on the serpent boss reviving heroes. Guess what the boss just wont die.

Play it until you hit the levels that stump you for a week. At that point, it is a relentless grind to find or upgrade the few tower cards that really matter. Just delete it and save yourself literally months of overwhelming frustration.

What an awesome game! Judging by the amount of updates coming in adding new levels and enemies, this game has a treasure trove of content waiting to be discovered and I LOVE it when games do that! However, with its sporadic swathes of difficulty, it is rather hard to unlock these new areas, BUT THIS IS NOT A BAD THING! It only makes me more excited and determined to challenge these levels and discover new items, upgrades, and interesting enemies. What a game! My only request is adding more avatar items, spells, and towers. Thats really my only complaint. And while the in-app purchases are strong with this one, the game doesnt shove them in your face too much and the gem mine system makes up for it by providing you with a steady stream of in-game currency.

This game is a lot of fun. It has great daily giveaways, and it has very fun characters. Ill admit that Ive had to use online sources to figure out the best way to 3-star a lot of the levels. I am currently stuck on a boss level, but I will keep trying because I have yet to be bored by this game after playing it daily for over 230 days. There are in-game worldwide tournaments too. Highly recommended. My other favorite TD game is The Creeps!

Really like it, this is a great game even without having to spend money on it. P.S Ive read other reviews saying some levels are too hard... Etc. all levels are possible, just use different tower combinations and youll get it. Ive been stumped many times but just watch a tutorial on YouTube and I progress. All kingdoms have dif. Weaknesses. For example for Minotaur levels, use poison and lightning. Skeleton- use aoe attacks like bombs, bird level, use high Dmg like snipers or bolas, etc. find the correct combos and youll get it

Enjoyable early, Grindy but mostly enjoyable later. However, the siege counter has reset on me twice for no good reason, this time at about 130 days, despite playing each day at the same time. Avoiding future annoyance by deleting game.

This game love you long time.

This game is EXPENSIVE, and I mean that. The mines they provide. For gems only yield 15 per day and max out if you dont log in and get them. To get to the higher levels you will need 10s of thousands of gems... The only way to get the required gems is either to play for the next 3-5 years or buy them.

Great tower defense game with plenty of upgrades and levels to keep you busy. Only critique is the game takes wayyyy too long to upgrade cards. For the love of God, please add another card upgrade tower!!!

Ive played this game for a long time and play it frequently, but I feel like Im constantly stuck. Ive been stuck for about 3-4 months at this point. My highly upgraded towers can barely handle serpents and some bird levels.

Been playing this on and off for about a year and never needed to purchase crystals or cards. Some levels are super-challenging, but nothing is unbeatable. One of my all time favorite iOS games.
